Meet the Counselor
My name is Leigh Ann Daniels, and I am the elementary counselor at Gary ISD. My job is to support all students, parents, and teachers to help each student reach their full academic potential.
Purpose
Elementary school counselors use a variety of theories to create early awareness, knowledge, and skills that lay the foundation for the academic rigor and social development necessary for students to become productive members of society.
Mission
To provide a proactive, comprehensive, and developmentally appropriate program to address students' academic and career goals in addition to supporting their personal and social needs.
